Apple has announced a massive lineup for this holiday season this morning during their special event in San Francisco.
The main star of the show was no other than the all new “iPad mini” – basically a miniaturized iPad with a 7.9″ (non-Retina) display, a dual-core A5 processor, an option for 4G LTE, 5-megapixels rear camera as well as 1.2-megapixels front camera. Price starting from RM329 (~ RM1,007).
However, the supporting actors were not that bad either. There was the revised “big” iPad (now sporting a much faster A6X processor and new lightning dock connector), the revised Mac Mini, the 13″ Macbook Pro with Retina display (!!!), and the surprisingly thin new iMac!
We’ll be bringing a detail breakdown of each new device in coming days.
You can now download or stream the whole presentation from Apple’s websites or from iTunes (podcast section) or from iOS Podcast app.

Many were excited when the web broke out the leaked pictures of the purportedly Sony-branded Google Nexus phone, dubbed the “Sony Nexus X”.
Unfortunately, it was a fake concept, admitted the creator.
A fake mockup that looks so good, that many were hoping it was the real thing.
His brilliant work on the fake mockup left us wondering whether such a collaboration (Sony – Google) could really take place. In the end, Sony does need this kind of attention after the cold acceptance of the Xperia lines.
So, anyway, thanks dude, for giving us false dream! A real Sony Nexus would have nice!
Maxis today has finally announced the availability of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 starting from RM1,599 depending on the packages. And as usual, there’s an advance payment of RM1,000 (refundable) on top of that.
In addition, perhaps a more interesting deal is, as a special privilege for its Maxis One Club members, Maxis is offering the Note 2 at only RM999 if you sign up for a 2-year contract with monthly commitment of RM146 (talktime = RM78 + 3GB data = RM68). And there’s NO advance payment for this package. However, you still need to check whether you’re eligible for the offer or not, which you can do that here.
